Chenonceau Castle
Built in the 16th century and located 13 km from Le Rigodon house. The Castel of Chenonceau also know as "le Château des Dames" is one of the most majestic castel in the Loire valley. It owes its name to Catherine de Médicis and Diane de Poitiers who brought it to the highest place in French history.
Exceptional by its Renaissance architecture, marrying with enchantment, the Castel of Chenonceau is one of the most visited in France.
The Castel of Chenonceau has richly furnished rooms (equipped kitchen, Louise de Lorraine's bedroom, the Médicis gallery, the François 1er living room) and incredibly flowered all year round thanks to the floral workshop of Jean-François Bouchet. For sure you will be seduced!
